Bestiary artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
Aitvaras are Lithuanian goblins that resemble roosters or dragons, and are described as having a fiery meteorite tail - we have enough fire-based creatures, so I gave her a magical crystal tail instead, although the phoenix-like appearance remained for the most part. Aitvaras like to take up residence in people's homes and are afterwards nearly impossible to evict - they may almost be considered desirable, as they often bring with them wealth or prosperity in the short term, but this sort of benefit almost always comes paired with misfortune.
