I remember when The Black Hole came out and the excitement it held for my friend Brian and I. Hey, we were nine years old and wanted another Star Wars. We also loved Disney movies. Over the years I grew away from the movie but recently re-discovered it and was really fascinated about the behind the scenes stories. Go find them on YouTube. Pretty interesting stuff. So I thought since it was a Disney movie after all, what if was an animated film??? I thought that sounded like fun so I got to work. I also wanted it to look like a poster from the 50's era of Disney like the Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, etc. They all had this type of composition and color.

One of my few guilty pleasures as its a terrible movie but at the same time is brilliant! It also has a rather nasty disemboweling scene ... but the less said about that, the better. You could call it, a ''disney nasty'' (after video nasties of the eighties). Now, I love this movie, I truly do, but it was done in such a way as to 'disney' it up, and it is only by some miracle that singing rabbits didn't mysteriously appear at the event horizon of the black hole.
