In a simple summary “The Deathwatch” are a chapter of “Astartes” (genetically modified men) who serve the Inquisition (Ordo-Xenos) as specialists in the war against all types of sinister “xenos” (derogatory term for Aliens) , All Deathwatch are recruited from different loyal chapters such as the Ultramarines, Imperial Fists, Blood Angels among other notable veteran squads; The sole objective of the Deathwatch is to destroy and pursue the various alien threats that seek to threaten the stability of the Empire of Humanity. When the candidate is chosen, he says goodbye to his legion and brothers to join a fortress world located in the most remote area of the galaxy; Proudly wearing the right shoulder pad of his original legion.)
As a curious fact, the Deathwatch are the only squads that are allowed to use exotic technology and “xeno” weaponry against their owners.
