Description

A recent commission I did for www.deviantart.com/jlaws1
Khione is a moon-sized fictional dwarf planet with a Sedna-like orbit within the solar system that becomes meteorologically active when it nears its perihelion. Named after the Greecian goddess of snow it has one of its hemisphere's is nearly completely white covered in ice and the other hemisphere stained in red covered in organic molecules known as tholins.
