"A species that evolved oddly similarly to Rattata, down to relying more on its nose and ears and biting with large front fangs. However, living in vast caverns led it to grow wings and take flight."

Baticate: The Bat Pokemon
Ability: Frisk/Unnerve
"Using their large imposing fangs, they gnaw away at cave walls to form nooks for sleeping in. Due to their bushy fur, groups will even sometimes huddle together for extra warmth. Despite looking very similar to Raticate, they were found to be only very distantly-related."
