I'm rarely active on DeviantArt anymore, but this needs to be exposed. A week ago, I received a private note from the DeviantArt account "Elefkos". They were offering me so-called work at Kabam Games, a legit mobile game developer based across North America, despite this user's profile claiming to be from Greece. Considering my past digital design degree, of course I'd be targeted with this. Right off the bat, this letter is badly formatted with many grammar errors. But the massive red flag is this dodgy download link they're requesting me to access, with a domain that isn't even in Google Search, and carrying the country code .cf (Central African Republic). I have the message attached below with the URL censored for obvious reasons. I don't know exactly what the link does, but don't worry, I was smart enough not to click on it. If a DeviantArt user ever sends you this kind of message, please mark it as spam and block the account. Just doing my bit to spread internet safety

Hey guys, it's my birthday today! Wow, it's hard to imagine that already quarter-a-century old! It's scary but quite fascinating at the same time. ^^; With these annual deviantART journals, I update you guys on what's happening with life. If you dislike Illumination movies, that's perfectly fine. But labelling the artists and animators as lazy talentless hacks is insulting, and makes you exactly that. Never underestimate their talents.
