Description

The pencil layout for Parking Lot. The figure on the left is a general size comparison between the car and Leela, and how she’d sit inside the car.

I don’t think I over thought this one…

It is strange that we 'know' the wheel has disappeared even from collective memory by the third millenium yet it is so ingrained in us that we refuse to give it up.
It's also interesting that in context with the wind blowing in the open door and out the open sunroof, Leela's ponytail looks natural and yet with your more finished piece sans auto , her hair-out of context-looks unrealistically posed.
