Little is known about the Zabi Vengeance Battalion, other than its leader General Ramu Zabi claims it is committed to the defense of the Republic of Zeon. Assault Squad 07 has recently come under the command of First Lieutenant Aberforth Deikun, a new and untested mobile suit pilot. Though the squad drills in combat simulations and scenarios in and around the colonies of Side 03, rumors of war may bring them out of training, and into real combat.

They use the AMS-119 Geara Doga, believed to be a worthy successor to the venerable Zaku-II. However, Aberforth Deikun has already proven to be quite talented in piloting a mobile suit, and his superior officers have already considered assigning him the more advanced MSN-03 Jagd Doga, which they feel will better match his piloting skills.
