I know I already commented on this, but I felt the need to do a full critique. Mainly because I think that this piece contains everything that is remarkable about your inking abilities.

First, your inking technique itself - your lines are so clear and smooth. I can understand everything that is on the picture, whether it is rendered in more detail, like the crystals, or left mostly blank, like the creature. You manage to give the creature texture, without actually putting much detail on it. Then there's the pitch black night sky with the little stars peaking through. I don't know how you managed to make it look so black with absolutely no streaks.

Secondly, your shading and textures - I'm talking mostly about the crystals here. I love the texture on the crystals. You even manage to make them slightly different from the ground/rock wall that they are resting on. I notice that this effect may come from a slightly differently colored marker, but still, the crystals stand out really well. I also like how some are kind of traditionally crystaline shaped, but many have their own wobbly character to them.

Finally, your use of space - You do a really good job at drawing the veiwer into the space and focusing on the creature. But you also leave the creature in the background enough, to let us appreciate the crystals in the foreground. And the black sky just pops. I don't know how you manage to make something dark "pop", but there you go. The darks, lights, and the objects in the space are also really well balanced.

So far this is probably my favorite of your standalone ink drawings so far. Everything about this is good.

Perhaps it isn't as helpful since this is a very positive critique, but hey, maybe you can look back at this if you want to know what in your technique that I think you do right?
