Hermie and Wormie in Heaven by Kathryn Watkins To my friend Max Lucado In loving memory of Tim Conway (1933-2019) and Don Knotts (1924-2006) Hermie and Wormie were great friends. They had fun together, they helped each other, they even learned Biblical lessons all the time and taught the same values to their friends. And as long as Hermie had his friend Wormie, he could never be more happy...until... One day, Wormie was suffering from Pneumonia. He had a hard time breathing and couldn't stop coughing. Hermie was worried about his friend. "Whats wrong Wormie? Why are you coughing so hard?" Hermie asked. "I'm getting Pneumonia. I can't breathe." Wormie answered. Hermie Knew this really was an emergency. As quickly as he could, he asked a few of his friends to take Wormie to the doctor, and fast! When Hermie went to see his buddy, he became aware that the doctors could no longer help Wormie. He was so sad. What happened next should not be a surprise to you...Wormie called Hermie
