I've played some of the older games. One of the first three from what I recall. Deadly Alliance, Deception, and Mortal Kombat 9 where they did a soft reboot of the series.

MK9 was this one got me back into the franchise and was actually the one that stuck out for me the most. Whenever I imagine the characters my thoughts go straight to the portrayals and designs of this game.
