Well I colored a baby dragon for practise.

I thought of adding textures and stuff, but when I attempted it I figured it looked ok this way. So I left it as it was.

as far as critique goes, I can't find anything wrong with your painting techniques or color choices. One thing though is that I can't really tell where the light source(s) is (are).

Other than that I'd do something different with the eye, the style is incredibly different from the rest of the painting, honestly i think it's the cartoon-esque highlight over the majority of the iris
