You know, I can certainly see why they get a lot of hate, but personally I actually like Mary Sue-ish characters. So that's not a problem for me. Though really, I don't think she's a Mary Sue just because she's a goddess. That depends more on how she's written in stories, and stuff like that, or the way she's described. Is Aphrodite a Mary Sue?
