Fates gave us an alternate universe called "Before Awakening" in which the Awakening crew meets the Fates crew and fight invisible boars, warthogs or wildebeests or something, i dunno, Chrom bought into it like the gullible little dork he was.

So I played with the idea in a "what if" scenario where Ki was a Nohr princess who came to Ylisse to purge the invisible gazelles and Chrom got smitten with her but alas...a one time visit...a bittersweet ending....

but then he finds his sweet princess and....and....well it makes me wonder who truly is suffering from amnesia....
