ok so i redesigned pinkie again because FUCK. means all the pie kids are gonna get a resdesign except for the boys. agH.

Okay so Pinkie Pie is part pony, part donkey. She is also adopted, and that explains why she does not look like the rest of her family. I ACTUALLY BELIEVE that Party Favor and Sugar Belle are her genetic siblings. Meaning, Pinkies mom was a unicorn and her dad was a donkey. Her parents had actually LOST PINKIE IN THE WOODS great job guys. The Pies found her and raised her to be theirs. Obv they didnt know what to call this tiny pink donkey foal so they named her Pinkie because unimaginative. Her birth name is actually Powder Puff. They at least got close with the P's. She's married to Cheese Sandwich, and has 6 kids. 4 girls and 2 boys.

People generally like to headcanon as pinkie being part pegasus to explain her ..floatiness i guess you could say. shes part donkey because BUCK TEETH AND FLOPPY EARS and part unicorn to explain her magical abilities. she just dont got no horn. Because she was adopted by an earth pony family, she is often mistaken as an Earth pony. It's not until she meets sugar belle through big mac that she learns of her actual species. Lets just say she throws a very BIG party called 'i have more family than i thought so lets celebrate' party.
