Once again, the pokemon fandumb is unbearable, and of course the reason is that its that time again where the generations are changing and the transfer from now 6 to 7 is happening. and the fandom is just being absolute shit about it, mainly to the new anime which hasn't even aired yet and yet they already claim it to be absolute shit. It's ghostbusters all over again, but this time within the fandom. And the majority of the complainers seem to be fans of the previous generation, acting as if this was the most perfect generation of pokemon out there.

Well, I got news for ya: The Kalos saga/games were not all that great!

Okay the pokemon games are normally alright anyways, but honestly i felt like X and Y were relatively too easy, whereas the past games I've played actually had challenges (namely in gens 2 and 5). The graphics may have been awesome and the new mechanics good, but the next gen also has some new things that we'll wait and see how well it changes the game.

Now what about the anime, well to those fans still watching it, there have been some changes to it in how it was animated and most were good, and either way when compared to generation 5's mishaps, kalos woulda been good either way. The problem is: the story is bland as hell and slower than a snail! Ash ketchum is blander than ever, Serena's really was just shipping bait (actually the shippers are by far the worst in this fandom) and had the slowest development of any character, and Celmont and Bonnie were just kinda broken records. The story was so slow, that despite it picking up in some parts, for the most part this series just wasn't interesting. Not to say it did not have its good moments, like the Korrina arc or Goodra's story arc, but for the most part it was very uninteresting. Not even the movies could really help it, considering Diancie's movie was the shortest of all the pokemon movies, Hoopa's apparently did not do well (you'd think a huge clash of like 11 legendary pokemon would be epic) and so on...

And with the sun and moon anime trailers out, most of the fandom instantly turn its back on it acting as if it'll be horrible

This is one of the stupider complaints, the fandom acts as if Ash ketchum looks different than any other character shown, when really he doesn't look all that different, I've covered before about how stupid some of the complaints have been about his design, especially when some morons think he looks like he belongs in cartoon shows like steven universe (I've said before how retarded that argument is) And you know what, he doesn't look stupid in the trailers, Ash looks like he's actually enjoying himself for the first time in years, I haven't seen more interesting emotions from him in so long that Sun and moon's Ash actually looks like he has more character again, and not just your typical anime protagonist

........... He hasn't been since gens 3 and 4 tbh.... Also when you've seen as much animations as I have, you know that when it comes to badassery, I've seen more badass shiz from a beady eyed polar bear cub when compared to ketchum lately...

Not really, it looks more fluid and more unique when compared to how stiff and less fluid it was in past gens

Well what do you expect, there are no gyms in the Alola reigon, games or anime. If anything you should be more concerned with how the games will play out without this. and besides the anime's been so stale with its formula that it's actually refreshing to see them change it now. It's an odd change of pace but what did you expect when they cannot use their formula this time which most hypocrite fans call stale anyways, and the moment it changes you say its bad. unpleasing idiots.

In short, fandom, take your damn nostalgia glasses off and realize change is happening, and deal with it rather than being butthurt babies over it. The last pokemon generation wasn't perfect, none of them were. And the next one could surprise you in its story once it picks up, don't just blow it off because you're upset over the changes. And with how the fandom is reacting practically the same way as fantards over ghostbusters 2016 (minus the sjw bs) at best the new anime will be mediocre cause all the complaining wont be worth what the actual product is, something in the middle.
