I was almost gonna ditch this sketch, back when I still had hopes of finishing em all before midnight... ofc that turned out to be a wishful dream pretty quickly so I went back and fixed this one up too, whoop~

Also known as the Age Difference ship, or the Replacement ship, I do enjoy a good Political Marriage ship too, for sure. There're so many interesting bumps in the road that follow, and you're left there anxious to know, will affection bloom or will it not??

BluexSun actually goes waaay back, as I once pondered the possibilities of Sunstar ever taking a mate. Bluefur kinda stood out and I followed my gut feeling and actually wound up liking what I saw lol. There's the challenge in age difference, the whole awkward bit with Sun formerly being in love with Blue's mum, a question of social standing, and then the nice little tidbit that Bluefur could use such a mateship to influence leadership and decisions~

Ofc it wouldn't be complete without the young bride having an affair on the side, but then the idea of Sun forgiving it and embracing Blue's kits as his own might just be a deal-sealer all on its own. Like I said, this is what I enjoy most about the Political Ship; its possibilities. ;w;
