My Bio

I am a Traditional artist, working mainly with Pencil/Graphites. It started as a hobby, and after many requests for portraits of colleagues children and pets, it became sort of semi-professional. I have been selling my artwork for quite a few years, more than I care to mention. I also do a lot of Sculpting using mostly Super Sculpey as my medium. I occasionally do Oil Paintings of Landscapes and Fantasy, I will try to find some old photos of my Oil works.

Most of my work is my own choice of drawings, but I also do a lot of work on commission, mostly portraits, the occasional car or bike. My 'Hobby' as I like to call it, has become a bit more important in my life, as my kids have both started school, and it gives me a bit more time to indulge. Hope you all like my work, I will try to get a few more done for you all to see.

Have nearly completed the Centaur, just a few dabs more of paint, then I will call it finished...............for now !. I always seem to find something that I could have done better, or change something that just doesn't look right, so often things get worked on again and again, and never seem to get finished. Have also started to paint Boris Vallejo's "Mistress of Fire". Flesh work will be finished in a few days, and will start on the fire and details. Will post some pics as soon as I am satisfied with them. New project : Have started sculpting a large Black Widow Spider. It will have a bit of a twist, won't give away the idea right now, b

Its been a while! I miss you!

Hi there Yumi, it's been a while and i'm really sorry about that. There has been so much going on here that I have found it really difficult to keep up with everything. I had a few commissions to finish, I've moved house and now live out in the countryside, kids friends have so many birthday parties to attend, bla bla, bla !.

It's been a long time since I have done any artwork for DA, and have only ever had time here and there for a quick flash glance at what is going on, on DA. I hadn't forgotten you Yumi, just didn't realise that so much time has gone by. I've missed you too.

How are things with you now ?, hope you had some good news about your condition, and hope that you're feeling much better about life in general.

Sorry for not answering sooner, but I have been so busy these last few months, and haven't really had time to get onto Devianart for quite a while.

Hi there Yumi,

Sorry for not replying sooner, but it is totally hectic here for me. December through to May is always total chaos here as there are so many birthdays to get through, so many people to please. I have been totally rushed off my feet, what with this commission from Lise here in Denmark, a couple of commissions from others too. I've also started something new, i'm really into making diorama's for 1/35 scale war models, so that is taking up a lot of time too. I'll post some pics of finished diorama's soon.

How are you ?, hope everything is going well with you and your family.

Haven't really had enough time to do any drawing, but hopefully soon these commissions will be finished, and then I can get back to some relaxing pencilwork.
