My Bio

Hey. My name is KNIIO but it's Pronounced like "Neo"

I'm primarily self taught, and a working freelance illustrator and comic artist based in NYC. I've tecnically been working professionally for about 5 years, and I'm currently pursuing a webcomic release for 2022. I love bright colors and making new OCS, as well as chatting with others about their own original characters!

My motto is "To create for yourself" because I believe artists get caught in the trap of social media and forget we're creatives because it's part of who we are.❤️

Kniios Art Feature! June Edition by Kniiothedreamer, journal

Here's another montly art feature from me for June! There's so many amazing artists on Deviantart so i decided to compile the ones that really caught my eye, and people who I genuinely just think deserves more of a follow! As usual If theres anyone you think i'd like please let me know in the comments. Feel free to share anyone you think I should follow! I'd love to see. First up is @RinPivko : For really bold and strong colors that make each piece pop and convey a wonderfully distinct mood! I'm especially in love with how they paint hair! Next is @Kana0ri For their soft paintings and dreamy brushwork. Kana has a really discting way of painting and deserve way more followers. really skilled fantasy artist! Next is @AterFox I loooove finding artists that paint like ater. Their cvharacters feel like something from a Fae story time book. You have solid footing on this. I'm self taught and it took me forever to get here.
If you like Lion King stuff, it shows some of the best I have right now. I haven't even begun on coloring, have yet to take a first paint class.

Your lines and flow of them is first-rate, and something I can't find elsewhere on what I call the "generic" artists, coming in by the pack loads of the same face sparkly dog or character base. They won't develop themselves, their lives are too easy. You had it rough on the streets of NYC, expect your talents to fly up there with the likes of Scott Redmond and David Nakayama.
