The duo decided to spend some time traveling together. They had been by each other's side for the past several months; during that time Esta and Exodus had slipped into an easy friendship built on a love of new and exciting experiences. Soon it would be time for them to go home - but not just yet.
They had decided on taking the long way back to Tsaiverstian, and had gotten lost en route. The two Dy'kletiun were currently in a place that they'd never seen before. "Im pretty sure this place 'int on a map." Exodus said as he puffed his feathers for extra warmth. It was extremely cold in this land, enough so so that Exodus was just barely staying warm with his feathers and long, silky fur. He could only imagine what poor Esta felt like. "Its not." Esta murmured as her piercing yellow eyes scanned across the icy wastes. "And probably for a reason." Exodus sidled up to Esta and offered a place under his wing. She gratefully accepted his shared warmth. The duo continued to scan the horizon for anything familiar, when Exodus spotted something. He nudged Esta and gestured with his other wing. A smoke cloud was just barely visible over the mountains in the far distance. They quickly took off, Esta riding along in the wake of Exodus' massive wings as they sped along. The smoke cloud quickly grew, and soon a giant tear in the earth could be spotted. The vent spouted smoke and heat, and the two Dy'kletiun landed on the jagged rocks that formed the edge of it. Esta quickly crawled over to the very edge and settled down, soaking up the warmth from both the vents and the rocks. Exodus gingerly peered over the edge. He couldnt see the source of the heat, only a blinding light that shone from within. "What d'you think this is?" He asked. "I dunno." Esta sighed, "But gods damn I'm glad its here."
Spoiler alert: They did end up making it home safely, though poor Esta had a cold for a little while afterwards.
Last General Training for Exodus 0152 and Esta 135 ! 
Damn it was fun to do these pieces. I learned a ton of things, like how much i hate rocks.
