Type of Beyblade: Balance. Bane Matagot 7.Sm. (7 Sigma) focuses mostly on attack and stamina, with enough speed to boost its capabilities, and some defense to withstand attacks save for the strongest ones. The 7 Disc's weight adds to knock-out resistance as well as the Bey's attack power, while the Sigma Driver features a flat rubber axis in Attack Mode, and a sharp metal axis in Stamina Mode. In Attack Mode, the Bey's specs lean noticeably towards attack and speed, aiming to land as many powerful attacks in as little time as possible. In Stamina Mode, speed is sacrificed for better stamina and defensive capabilities, with the aim of outlasting the opponent.

Personality: A quiet, often aloof but nonetheless passionate and no-nonsense teen, Megumi can be unpredictable at times. It takes her a while to open up to others, and while there's practically no one she won't eventually talk to, there are those she's indifferent to. She's sensitive, but knows how to compartmentalize, for the most part, in order to be analytical when she has to be. However, this need to keep her emotions private can overwhelm her, which can lead to a great deal of stress and frustration if she isn't careful. While she can be meticulous to the point of perfectionism, there are times she'll procrastinate, if only to be mentally settled before deal with certain tasks.

She takes her responsibilities seriously, and considers failing to handle them as bad as reneging on a promise. When possible, Megumi makes it a point to meet and even got beyond expectations, although this mindset may mean she overloads herself without realizing it. Her strong sense of duty and a desire to meet expectations - including her own - make it hard for her to say 'no'. When that happens, she needs someone to remind her that it's okay to ask for help.

As reluctant as she is to ask for help unless she absolutely has to, Megumi doesn't hesitate to help others by sharing her knowledge, experience, or even just time and energy with those who need it, especially if that someone is a friend. She's typically gentler or less direct and brash when dealing with other female Beybladers - unless she has good cause to be less accommodating, in which case, one can expect sharp retorts and snarky quips.

An introvert by nature, she's still a social sort in that she can always find something to say to get someone talking, if they're not the one to start the conversation. All the same, she's picky about her friendships, subscribing to the belief that quality trumps quantity. She knows when to speak gently, and when to be more firm, even harsh if needed. Her range of expressions truly shows when she's with friends; she can be by turns sarcastic, witty, perhaps even snarky or deadpan, to the point where she'll spout tongue-in-cheek nicknames that may seem offensive at first, but are nonetheless a sign of her affection for that person. It takes a lot to win her trust and loyalty, and she'll be devastated if someone were to abuse her trust or be disloyal.

Short History: Born in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, Megumi and her twin Katou were 3 years old when their father moved their family to Japan, to begin work as a college professor at his alma mater; their mother soon established a reputation as a reliable family doctor. A few years later, the pair witnessed Beyblading in action upon seeing a match at the local Bey Mall. Their father later gave each twin their own Beyblade for their birthday, and Megumi lost no time in practicing. From the beginning, she proved to have a good grasp of a Bey's physical attributes and how these would affect its performance, a testament to the observational and analytical prowess she would come to rely on as a Beyblader. She also expressed an interest in martial arts, eventually signing up for both karate and aikido because she couldn't decide between the two.At 11 years old, Megumi she entered the WBBA regional tournament when it rolled around, and ended up facing Katou in the finals. She lost, but later received an invitation to the wild card tournament, where she beat all others in her block and proceeded to the national tournament. She was eliminated in the semi-finals, but earned the title of “Spin Emperor” as a mark of her prowess.

Like her twin,

she entered the Regionals again the year after; the results were reversed this time around, with Megumi taking the title of Regional Champion from Katou, and the latter being invited to the wild card tournament soon after. In the Nationals, Megumi was eliminated before reaching the semi-finals by then-10-year-old Kurenai Shu. She took a year off from competitive Beyblading when she was 14 to hone her techniques as well as observe newcomers.

While she spent some time at the training ground known as the Snake Pit, she left once she felt she'd improved enough, and later on took to training younger Beybladers she felt had potential. Now, she's

decided to try and test how much better she's gotten in a tournament unlike any she's experienced before, teaming up with Seiran Zhu, whom she'd met - and defeated - the first time she participated in the Nationals, and Honoka Momoi, a slightly younger Blader she helped train.

Likes: Megumi likes waking up early so she can get a head-start on things she needs to do or else go for a walk before the day gets really busy. An animal-lover, she has a soft spot for cats and will often stop to pet one – if it lets her. She likes collecting graphic novels from a variety of genres. While her favorite dishes are often noodle-based, she also enjoys okonomiyaki, and she has a weakness for milk tea.
Dislikes: Megumi dislikes making mistakes, and she hates misplacing things. Food that’s in any of the extremes – too bland, too rich, too salty, and so on – make her turn up her nose, and she’ll tune out people who whine or complain too much. Even though she believes in pushing herself when necessary, she knows her limits and so knows when to tone things down to avoid injury, as she hates being less mobile than she's used to being.
Other:
- Megumi likes taking walks and reading books. She also enjoys RPGs and strategy games.
- She brings a Rubik's cube with her everywhere, and fiddles with it in order to get into the zone and deal with something effectively.
- Though right-handed, Megumi used a left-hand launch for most Beybattles, as this gives her a more accurate launch, which her play style is built on; she switches to a right-hand launch when she wants to end a battle quickly.Previous Participation: This is the first time Megumi has participated in this tournament. The character owner, however, has been in practically all of the previous ones

Funny story about this - I used a random online generator to pick which OC I'd enter this BBT season with... and said generator ended up picking Kei's BeyBurst counterpart XD
