Tell me something because i'm having a hard time understanding. And sorry if I sound ridiculous in advance. Can an artist do commissions for fanart? I know I saw a comment online saying "it may be OK to publish your fan art as long as you don't make money from it. Fan art, fan fiction, or any other creative work inspired by popular culture is a complex and controversial issue." and that concerns me because I see people doing commissions off of characters from various franchises like Genshin or Pokemon and etc. From drawings, to stickers, animations so so on. And making money off them. So IS it okay or isn't it?
