This is for 's MerMay contest, I hope I'm not too late to enter, I know I certainly am cutting it close though, haha. I've never entered a contest here before but seeing as how mermaids are fun to draw I decided to quickly get something together. ^^

I've always enjoyed The Little Mermaid, she's the first Disney mermaid I thought of so I decided to draw her. I believe that this is the first time I have ever drawn her, I kind of like the result here. I tried using markers for this for something different, I generally use colored pencils so it's probably not the greatest but I tried anyway. xD I didn't have any markers that were close enough to Ariel's skin color so I just used colored pencils for that.
