Personality
Kurohai... is an angry boy and most importantly really blunt. It's rare to even see him smile. He also has an arrogant side to him. A lot believe he has the potential to become a pillar... But will never be one because of his attitude towards others. He's bossy and demanding. But he wasn't always like that and sometimes, some can catch a glimpse of a softer side of him. Especially around animals. He's always hars when talking to people but is always soft spoken when speaking to his crow, which leaves a lot of people confused about what kind of person he really is.

[ Kurohai loved his mother above all else but always felt like everything he did was never enough for her. Despite being a loving mother, Kos absolutely wanted a daughter and felt some dissapointment when her first child turned to be a boy. Even though she did love him, Kurohai did feel the difference of attitude when his little sister Mayu was born. Kurohai never found the courage to confront his mother about this and thus never found closure after she passed away. This would eventually lead him to have a strained relationship with his younger sister.]

[ Dangai was a loving but a strict father and did no favoritism, something Kurohai was thankful for. They had a good relationship and his death absolutely crushed him. Kurohai was already distant from his siblings before but their father's passing drifted him away from them even further as he felt he could not confide in anyone or show any sign of weakness, being the eldest. But he still stayed really protective of his younger brother. The future of his family rested on his shoulders at the age of 15. [ Kaen is the sibling that Kurohai has always been closer to. Them being bth boys came with similar interests and hobbies, and thus they spent a lot of time together. After Kaen lost his right arm, he became very protective and refused to leave him alone, fearing a tragedy would occur if he turned a blind eye, if only for a moment. Nowadays, they're still close but Kaen cannot tolerate the way his older brother treats his older sister, and they argue a lot about the matter. Kurohai feels partially responsible for his brother's accident but pushes the blame on Mayu because of his pride.]

[ Kurohai always had a conflicted relationship with Mayu. He loves his younger sister, but his mother's favoritism towards made him grew resentful towards her. When a friend of Mayu and Kaen was turned into a demon and ate his brother's arm after they protected him, Kurohai blamed Mayu. Kurohai was already a Demon Slayer by then, and was on a mission when it happened and blamed his sister who went on a stroll to pick up herbs instead of staying with Kaen. Ever since, Kurohai has a hard time trusting Mayu with any kind of responsibility and thinks she souldn't be near injured people. He also has startinf for potential partners of her, since she never was betrothed to anybody by their parents, somethings Mayu hates and she has missed some marriage interviews on purpose. Although there is a lack of trust, Kurohai also thinks Mayu should get married so she would still be in a good situation if something were to happen to him. They will start to mend their relationship during the series.
