The coloring and shading on this is phenomenal. But I've seen this pose for awhile now lol. You could've did something more unique but sometimes you just don't get the feeling. XP Since you were going for simplicity though, I think it works. One thing I have to say about this is the background. I don't think the background works with the little guy. I suggest instead of using purple, which is close to the blue, I would use red, to contrast the blue and make Oshawatt pop out of the page more. I'd also make the picture plane around Oshawatt a little bit smaller, that way there isn't as much negative space around him.
