My species: the SharkieYou might have come across this weird species while browsing through my galleries or might even own one yourself. If you've ever wondered what they are, where they live, etc. you've come to the right place! A Sharkie can be found in saltwater (that's why they can be so salty), and are often tamed by mermaids. They swim around with their owners, but are not very fast, due to their short legs, which are not very suitable for swimming, they are just for steering, while their big fin does all the work. Mermaids often walk their pets outside of water(if a mermaid's skin gets dry, her fin transforms into legs), where they can run fast, in a cute and clumsy way~ if their owners throw shells for them, they will happily return it to them and make a big smile; they are really proud of every accomplishment they make Sharkies can stay over water for a limited time only, they have a small water supply in their body, which allows them to keep their skin hydrated for up to 5 hours, if they run out of
