It became very popular on my insta some months ago but I forgot to upload it here :/ So here it is.

Before I took this shot, I saw this man standing in the rain. I thought he would be the main subject as I wanted to capture the feeling of solitude. Then I noticed this couple walking down from a distance. The rain started again, making the light even purer, as if it had washed out the sky.

I was at the right place at the right time, as often happens in photography. And... there are no random events, only a way to be sensitive to the unfolding of those fleeting moments. This means seeing the full picture and envisioning the photograph it will become. And then, let go. Don't think too much, and you'll be filled with joy and ecstasy about the world around you. That's the main reason I love photography—to be more intuitive rather than analytical.

I shoot nearly every day, always the same streets of the same city, Toulouse, here in France. It's always a pleasure because every day is different and amazing. I believe that you make better photographs of the things, places, or people you already know. It is a bit of a discipline and a habit. Sometimes I don't feel like doing street photography at all, but I push myself to do it, and I never regret it.

This day was one when I wasn't quite feeling the creative flow. I had a bad session, and then the rain started. I was about to leave, but then I saw the umbrella in the distance, and that was it.
