Based and referenced on Todd Marshalls amazing dinosaur illustrations, I have been a fan of his artwork since I was 13. Anyways I had a sudden urge to return to my roots and I decided to draw dinosaurs, a lot of them. Most of them were just quick doodles, but I spent a little bit more time on my favorite type of dinosaur, raptors.

Also, I was testing out a new set of brushes by Jaime Jones which are incredibly awesome. Dinosaurs and textures make an awesome combination.

Anyways, just a study focusing on anatomy, values, and so on. Color will come soon enough! I swear!
