So... um guess who forgot... (more like ignored) my AP art assignments HAHA
Time to grind some work out.... before I dig myself a bigger hole

Six fathoms under is in reference to the minimum units of length required for a burial at sea. Using my CS, Qiri for the subject of this piece, the girl is my interpretation of the unknown. Since I was little I've always been terrified of water, my clearest memory was around kindergarten when I wanted to be with my friends who were treading water, and me being a idiot child, I jumped in. I didn't know how to swim and I kind of remember how pretty the under surface of water is.

This is essentially my want to believe that the sea isn't scary and filled with sharks and creepy fish and is rather beautiful.
