dA is doing a sneppy thing when i decided to redraw my sona, hopefully i'm not too late (and anthro snow leopards count XD ) so i can get my snow leopard badge :3

So i've had the same fursona since i was in like middle school lmao a goth snow leopard that's essentially just me but more expressive and often has longer hair.

i feel like a fursona should represent everything about the person who designed it and be an extension of themselves, if that makes sense. i think when you make a character who's drastically different from yourself it's more of an OC than a sona, but that's just how i've came to understand those terms I dont think that is always the case but thats how i see it

i tend to redesign my fursona every year or two to update it with my current look, hair and fashion preference....

this year i've been really delving into my old style which is sort of between scene and emo. i think i've been drawn to this old look and music is because i recently moved and felt like i was given another chance to be myself, and to enjoy things i missed out on. my teen years were really rough, and they made me who i am today, but i didn't get to really enjoy the things i liked

so i've been reliving many old things now that my life is peaceful and my health issues are somewhat in remission, while taking the time to enjoy it

i also feel like i should retain some of that DC hardcore within me because i'm no longer living near DC and i want to keep it as a part of me.
