The tracks were clear in the snow, he could see where the claws had marked the ice. Slowly and purposefully he climbed toward the blinding light, out into the snowstorm ... he would find the monster ... it would know his pain ...

Continuation of the story of Ice Canyon [link] It's very similar, but I couldn't resist doing an ice-cave exit after some of my reference material for the first one :3 Enjoy!
