I used paint tool SAI for this ~ But it's mostly about color use, so any program could do

Step by step of the three techniques I use the most for shading !
plus some tips and tricks

no lines - fancy shading This is mainly just putting on everything a gradient,, but I really like it ! I don't shade that often, but out of these three, I do this one the most atm.
It gives a nice sharp look, with the sharp corners, but with the gradient, it gets more soft

Lines - Fancy shading v1 I used to do this shading style a lot. But lately not at all anymore. Thats why the example is pretty old pff
but its a nice combi between gradient and shading. I want to use this technique again soon !

Lines - Fancy shading v2 Its a lot like the previous style. But also not. Theyre like bffs who buy the same clothes because they dont want to show up alone at school with that "risky" shirt. The biggest difference between the two is that I don't use gradient here. It gives it overall a less softer look. But I still really like it ! The example picture has a little bit of gradient, because I used the tip mentioned at the end ~
