I'm an Anne Rice fan and I love it when I see an artwork so beautiful and serious such as this.
I liked the movie Queen of the Damned, Lestat, Akasha, the songs, although I had seen it before reading the novels.
After reading the novels, I was disappointed by how much story was ignored.
Your Before Akasha is beautiful, but I have to say, the After is better detailed and more haunting.
Akasha in the books had marble-white skin, unlike the dark-skinned Aaliyah (who was perfect for the role).
