To Much Love For This Fella by lostrunaway on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

I was really annoyed since had left over materials, fabrics like FELT and other fabrics. I didn't feel like buying any more materials and stuff like that has already taken over parts of my room. I guess this is for Wawa...it'll be his companion toy thing or his hugging toy. Wawa is my Pink Gloomy Bear's name it looked kind of lonely. Anyways looking like Wawa might have a few people around him since I have spare fabrics.

Sorry about the Pic, it's my Camera and usually my room is dark and closed off. I never open the windows. I'll probably switch out for a better view pic. nyways I feel so cliche or something cause people put so much love or fan related stuff for L and Death Note. Anyways Just another L Plush to litter the DA site. >_<;;; It's somewhere between 4-5 inches. All from FELT...>_<;;; I had to use tape to clean him up afterwards from the hair job and cutting the felt. It's all hand sewn...I don't like sewing it's not something I want to be sitting around for.

I had a blank testing body from a outline that I called Heart man. Can be seen here [link] So the blank plush before didn't have a colored scalp, it was made for Mohawk Hair. So I had to cut tiny strands to cover scalp. I will have to add more hair strands under the top of his back head where I already added hair. I kind of wanted to give him hair that wasn't flat and you could kind of fix around and stylize. But it solves the problem of the colorless scalp.

This is a test run...I am undecided about how his eyes should be. I kind of like the eyes of L in SilentReaper's popular Death Note Comics/panels. It's also a test run on this boring simple pattern I made for small things, it has a 3D head. I'm still figuring out to not give him stump rag doll legs and maybe get him to sit. There's always a beginning for someone but I definitely can't see myself making plush stuff or being able to see the evolution in working on this stuff...I wish I had Photo Shop or some program to make the eyes and can print out. Yeah sure I learned many things from Plush makers on DA but still this is kind of boring looking compared to other people. Last summer I made those boring 2in mascots of the akatsuki out of felt.

...Bleh...I think I should have used Suede and make something like a bean toy. Something that isn't plush. One of the things I liked and came out in the 90s were those Beanie Babies. I think I might need a Bean toy L for a test run. I feel unoriginal.

I don't think it's a good idea to nudge and see if something will happen. Sometimes teachers and adults do that to me...including my art teachers at my high school. They make me feel guilty...don't know why but they do...
