The supreme court may have just destroyed the very thing that made my country what it is. I want to governed by a PRESIDENT, not a KING. I mean I remember when I was a boy, learning about what made country what it is, its founding, how its government works, its history, its unprecedented achievements, and also its dark mistakes too. At the time it felt like there was nothing America could not do. This must have been how the Romans felt when Caesar Augustus declared "Pax Roma". Now I feel like one of the guards at the gates of Rome during 476 AD. Thanks to the supreme court, all of the ideals of my country is now in mortal danger like never before, all to shield a man who is everything I can't stand about how people behave online, how businesses work, and politics all wrapped into one. A man with no honor, no shame, no principles, and only ever cared about himself. A man who has had a lifetime of a complete disregard for the laws of the United States. This is just out of control.
Also, let's not forget the lesson it teaches about how corruption destroys democracy.
If you can't decide between the two candidates, vote for the one that will allow you to vote in future elections.
