Discord Server

PKMNation hosts a Discord server as our Official Chat channel. This is a place to connect with other members of our community as well as interact directly with our moderating team. For those of you who wish to join, please comment below with your discord username.

Discord/Chat Rules

You must be a member to join.

There will be no impersonating at any time. Never impersonate another person. Ever. We will be moderating user nicknames. While on our server, your displayed name will match your dA name, this is something that the moderating team will do when you first join the server, and you will not be able to change it.

Do Not Spam the Discord server. This includes repeated posting of the same thing, massive amounts of links one after another; excessive use of icons and/or emotes.

Please do not post spoilers in the server, be it for Pokémon or for anything else where spoilers could ruin someone's fun. Under no circumstances may you post Pokémon-related spoilers (upcoming titles, leaked new Pokémon, etc).

Drama Llamas are not welcome on Discord, because we simply do not stock the correct fodder for them. So please do not start drama. If you do, you will be removed from the chat for 24 hours, and you will be given a strike.

Even in our Discord server, we ask that all Code of Conduct rules and General Rules also be followed. Especially the Golden Rule. This helps with everyone getting along!

That being said, if someone asks to drop a subject that might be touchy for them, please respect them and change the subject to keep the atmosphere positive.

Do not swear in the chat; it will result in our PKMNAdmin bot removing your message and scolding you. You would never want that, would you?

Failure to follow the rules of conduct can and will result in being silenced without warning. Your transgression would then be addressed in private.

news: A chat where moderators can keep members updated on our site and group. Things like updates, changes to the site, and reminders will appear here. Only moderators can post in this chat and members can read!

general: The channel for anything and everything!

art_discussion: Here you can post art you made or received from others, with their permission of course.

sales_and_trades: A place for members to buy, sell, and trade what's in their inventories or what they obtain from clutches and the like! Only for PKMNation-related sales/trades.

my_pokemon_my_item: A Channel for all of your bot commands. Our PKMNAdmin bot knows the following commands:
!?WhoToDraw - picks a random Pokémon from your inventory for you to draw! You can use !?WhoToDraw NoApp if you want the bot to give you an unreffed Pokémon.
!?MyPokemon Species - lists all the Pokémon you have of a specific species, for example: !?MyPokemon Eevee
!?MyItem Item - shows you how many of a certain item you have, for example: !?MyItem Pokeball

breeding_requests: Looking for a perfect partner for your long-time breeding project or just a random partner for a spontaneous breeding? Post your ad here!

gym_hub: This channel is for Gym Leaders to reply to challenges from other members against their teams. This is not a discussion chat.

ask_mods: This channel is for members to ask important questions to the moderators. Members should refrain from posting answers to this channel. Make sure to read our info journals and F.A.Q. before asking questions here.

Q.] What questions can I ask in Ask_Mod?

A.] Any question! However if you ask a question that is already answered in one of the journals, or a question that was recently answered in the chat, you may be redirected to either the appropriate journal or told to look at the previous replies.

Q:] I have a concern I don't want to discuss publicly. Is there anyone I can talk to privately?

A:] You're always allowed to ask for a Champion to speak with privately through direct messages on discord or through DeviantArt Notes through the group. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have a concern!

Q.] I can’t access/do not use Discord. Is there any other way for me to connect with other members?

A.] Unfortunately not through official means! There may be other unofficial means from member run chatrooms, but we only officially have the Discord server.
