Hey everyone!

This art piece has been in the works for a long time and is finally done so I can present it to you! I love Spyro the Dragon and I'm sure many can aggree that he's the best purple boy! However, I figured I wanted to draw him with a background that mattered to me personally, so I drew one of the more outstanding locations/buildings of my favourite level from my favourite Spyro game. "Spyro - Enter the Dragonfly".

While I know this game is a huge fail for the entire franchise and probably hated by many, it's the one I grew up with and have the fondest memories of. Cloud 9 is my favourite level and an absolute banger in general, especially in regards to the music! I love the level design back then and so many things that others seem to criticize (for obvious and understandable reasons), yet I wanted to create this piece as a small tribute to my favourite game and level.

I tried to create a mixture of the old design as well as the version from the "Reignited Trilogy" for both Spyro as well as Sparx in this case and I'm not too disappointed with how it turned out. I'm very proud of the shading/highlighting/colouring of the characters and all that effort and hard work that went into the background, even if not flawless, shall not have been in vein. Definitely an artpiece I appreciate and that I'm happy sharing. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it! Let me know what you think in the comments and which one is your favourite Spyro game?^^
