The Impact of this shot is masterly done. This is caused by the details of the bee: You could see how he is drinking Honey. You could almost count every hair around his head. Of course, We all see him much bigger then in real-life. That is impressing me a lot.

I believe you didnt have waited long for the bee. I believe bees could smell sweets from hundred metres far. This is a good technique to get them at from of your lens.

I know that macro photography is very hard. (very narrow depth of focus) Especially with living creatures and insects. They move almost all the time to out of focus.
