Description

The fires set in the Amazon Rainforest have been deeply upsetting to me, and it's so easy to feel completely helpless, with people in power seeming not to care what happens to this Earth we all share. So I wanted to contribute to help somehow. This is for the Art for Amazonia charity auction on Instagram, live Aug 31-Sept 2 @ artforamazonia All proceeds will go to the Amazon Conservation Team. They focus on recovery for indigenous communities worst affected and offer support and training for fire prevention.

I wanted to capture the essence of the Amazon Rainforest, as I'd like it to be. Untouched by human corruption and greed.
