As Jack Jack wrestled with being wrapped in the gooey Syndrome Slime, frustration and anger built up. His emotions were especially exacerbated by the same feelings coming from all his doubles. He tried to phase through the slime, but just as Syndrome bragged the oozing material clung too closely and just remained clinging to him as he moved.

Then Jack Jack realized he could try another power. He concentrated and fired lasers from his eyes. He aimed at the Slime on a nearby double, and soon he was free! His doubles cheered with his success and copied the idea. Soon lasers were flying around the room as they freed each other!

Jack Jack didn't forget Dash. As he climbed free of the Slime, he glared at Dash and his laser beams cut through the enclosing glass chamber and the metal restraints on Dash!
