It probably wasn't easy for Link to walk when he became a wolf for the first time.

It wasn't easy for that part, but it was probably worse or harder for Link getting used to his wolf form (fighting, swimming, and trying to stay alive). "New things are tough, but you'll get used to it." That's what Midna feels too when she wasn't used to the Hylians at first I think.
