Heya! This is a gift for Mizuki-T-A. I’ve drawn here Matilda(left) and Mizaline(right). I DO NOT OWN THESE CHARACTERS. THEY BOTH BELONG TO @Mizuki-T-A !!!

I’ve been actively looking at Mizuki-T-A’s art for at least TWO AND A HALF YEARS now and even some BEFORE THAT so I’ve got a lot to say, so I’mma say it.

Also warning: Topics of prostitution, self hate, and self-harm.

Here, both girls are holding up a customized heart. For Matilda it is a gem, and for Mizaline it is sewn, like a plush toy. Matilda loves jewelry, and Mizaline abuses her plushies(a form of ‘love’ for her), so they should both have everything they want in this picture. Right?

Both hearts represent the love each character is lacking.

As a prostitute who hates her job and self, Matilda lacks positive relationships and thus lacks real love. She lives with Keith, her main man, but neither have romantic feelings nor genuinely care for each other as much as a couple. She is his bitch, he is her wallet. She likes jewelry, which is why the heart is a gem. But no matter how much she likes that artificial heart, it can never make up for her own broken heart.

Mizaline has a similar lack of love and affection, but not because of a job. It is her personality that drives people away. Mizaline harms herself regularly and hates herself, which is why her plush heart is stitched up. She tore it apart and, in tears and blood, stitched it back together because she feels she needs love. Despite her want for love, she drives away any potential partners with her crazy demands.

Both girls are in a situation where neither can be truly in love because of who they are. One is a prostitute that is only one of many women Keith has relations with, and the other scares those around her into leaving her.

Okay now I’m going to talk less about the drawing and now other stuff.

I LOVE these two characters. I feel the way Matilda is drawn in pictures like ‘Straydog Hunting’ or ‘Bruise’ show how hard her life is for her. It makes you feel bad for her. Though I don’t have evidence for this, I feel she is so broken that if someone genuinely wanted to help her without having sexual relations she would reject the offer, thinking it as ‘too good to be true’. However, she’s still portrayed as a rude, bratty young adult(‘Crime Friends’ and ‘B!tch’s Lollipops') who sees Keith and probably lots of men in general as potential moneybags she is willing to trade herself for. Mizaline is different. She is sad, but because she is desperate in so many different ways. She is desperate for love, for happiness, for death but also life. She is my favorite of Mizuki-T-A’s OCs, and has certainly inspired some details of my own OCs(some details I haven’t drawn yet). I love her as a character so much I don’t know how to describe it. Her relationship with medicine ‘fixing’ her(‘Overdose’ and ‘Manic Dance’) was something that connected with me once I began to take my own meds for similar reasons. Other than that… I just love her. Of all Mizuki-T-A’s OCs, Mizaline is the one that inspired me the most.

…But the stripes on the clothes for both these characters and my OC are a coincidence. There’s a reason why my OC got stripes on his jacket, and it’s not because of this.

Please note: I AM NOT A FURRY ARTIST. Most of the characters I've drawn are human or humanoid. I have no problem drawing the occasional furry character, but those will be few and far between and will likely only be for gift art of characters I think look cool or have interesting backstories. Please don't follow me if you want more furry drawings content, as I won't draw them a lot. Like... I'll draw them at MOST once a month, but even then that is generous.
