Description

The new and improved LMR designed to replace the iconic and long-serving LMR-03, it addresses the ACT Interplanetary Defense Force’s concerns regarding the issues in conductive rail overheat during fully automatic fire and the cost of the earlier prototype models and is also expected to be much cheaper to build. Like it's predecessor, the LMR-05 fires slugs of high-density alloys, such as tungsten carbide and depleted uranium, at velocities up to several times the speed of sound capable of penetrating the toughest body armor. It's also capable of firing multi shot cartridges for eliminating targets with light armor and programmable air burst munitions to kill enemies hiding behind covers.
