My first pic to start off ToonJune is the world’s most wonderful,wonderful cat who was brought to life by Pat Sullivan and made his debut in 1919 in Feline Follies,which he became one of the most popular silent cartoon characters ever made,way before Disney’s Mickey Mouse came along in 1928. His popularity led to a TV series in 1959-1961(where he is given a magic bag of tricks and faces off an army of foes such as Professor and Rock Bottom),a revived trilogy of shorts in RKO’s Rainbow Parade Cartoon series produced by Van Bueren,a 90’s saturday morning cartoon series,and a feature film in 1991. So here he is,the world’s most wonderful cat with his bad of tricks,Felix The Cat.
