Changing At The Food Court
At the bustling food court of the local mall, Jake, a 14-year-old boy, sat alone at a small table. He was engrossed in his meal, a burger and fries, trying to drown out the noise of the busy area around him. The smell of fast food filled the air, and the sound of laughter and chatter echoed. But Jake was used to it. It was a Saturday afternoon, and the mall was packed with people. Unbeknownst to him, a girl named Hailey, a bratty, 13-year-old who often made life miserable for those around her, noticed him. She was with her best friend, Zoe, also a self-absorbed, spoiled girl. They were wandering the food court, looking for someone to mess with.
