I just Love the phenomena of "pareidolia".

"Pareidolia".

Definition: The perception of apparently significant patterns or recognizable

images, especially faces, in random or accidental arrangements of shapes and lines.

I was looking to harvest recognizable imagery from the seemingly randomness

of the content created by the kaleidoscopic compositions.

Then I found the image that I used, in my work entitled

"Her Face is to Wonder as Water is to Wet 1-4".

It was here, within the Kaleido, approximately 3-4 inches from the center,

at the bottom middle of the page...

I did indeed add the background effect,

Using the phenomena of "pareidolia", I was able to find quite an interesting

way to develop abstract artwork.
