YES! IT'S HAPPENING! Many of us were waiting for Samus Aran to return and, indeed, she did so by the big door with Metroid Prime 4 Beyond! Undoubtedly, it was a very pleasant surprise, although the initial joy was slightly tainted with a bittersweet taste when we realized that, in fact, its release will not be in 2024, but in 2025. However, its mere presence is synonym with good news, because we had not heard about the game for a long time after Nintendo decided to replace the studio responsible for Retro Studios. Initially announced during E3 2017, the game started production as normal, but Nintendo didn't like what they saw, so they decided to start from scratch in 2019, this time with Retro Studios at the helm. It's been 5 years since that day and it's the first time we've seen such a straightforward gameplay trailer in a long time. Among other things, the date on which the game takes place was revealed: cosmic year 20X9. A very relevant fact. Of course, there was much more in

After a long wait, Metroid Dread finally arrived on Nintendo Switch today! The new game from Nintendo and MercurySteam has been classified by critics not only as one of the best installments of the franchise, but as one of the best titles you can currently enjoy on the console! As with every major release, the guys at Digital Foundry have already prepared a video analysis of Metroid Dread, in which they talk in detail about the technical aspect, such as resolution and frame rate per second. Here you can take a look at it, although I'll tell you once and for all, Dread is practically flawless in this area. Well, it was to be expected that Metroid Dread would perform really well on the Switch. As always, Nintendo's first-party games hardly ever have any technical hiccups, and this new offering is no exception. Have you had a chance to play it yet? Let me know in the comments!

It's celebration time! Yesterday, August 6, marked the 35th anniversary of Metroid. That's right, it was in 1986 when Samus Aran's adventures began on the Famicom, taking players to a very lonely world full of dangers. While the Metroid series enjoyed quite a promising period at the beginning, with a trilogy between NES, Game Boy and SNES, once Super Metroid hit the market, the series began a long period of silence, something that would become usual. However, in 2002 we saw the release of Metroid Prime, a title that revitalized interest in the property, and brought the bounty hunter into 3D. The Metroid series has also played a pivotal role in the history of video games. Thanks to the great freedom and exploration system that the games in the series have provided, many developers were inspired by this level design. The clearest example was Koji Igarashi, who transformed Dracula's castle in Symphony of the Night into a location as complex as Zebes or SR388. Without titles like Super

Hey, are crossover pics allowed?

Sure thing! Just be sure to upload it into the "Other Allies" folder.

Quick question: I was looking at your group rules and saw that pairing drawings with Samus are a no-no, but what about one-sided crushes (as in, someone is attracted to Samus, but she’s not interested in THEM)?

That's alright, no problem with that.

**About AshleyGamer1995...**If you don't mind, please say hi to my friend AshleyGamer1995 (https://www.deviantart.com/ashleygamer1995), whether on his profile page, in a note, chat request or on comments he posted from others' deviations, or even outside DeviantArt like Discord. He is a valuable, loving and active person on dA, specialised in gaming and talking about all that he knows from it, especially Star Fox and Pokemon stuff that he is very well familiar with. He can sometimes feel lonely and wishes to have good new friends to enjoy conversations with games and characters, as well as more support for new custom pictures he dreams of being with the game characters in the future (if one of you are artists, that is). So go ahead and meet your new bud, grow a decent and healthy relationship with him, and create happiness. Give him the chance.

I know this sounds weird but I'm requesting an affiliation to your founder to join up with my group because the system had already made the necessary changes to my group that I recently just founded as I'm going to need all the help I can get when it comes getting ideas for my story.
