Hi guys, here's a little something different for today, a poster with two of our favorite female diesels on the Ffarquhar Branch, Mavis & Daisy. I figured since I'm making different Face Masks for the characters, I can make some interesting promo art, and some of these include having posters dedicated to the many dynamics in both my series as well as the actual Thomas series. So for here, we got one dedicated to Mavis & Daisy and their relationship with each other, which looking back, neither Mavis or Daisy have ever really interacted with each other, not even once. Yes there was that time in the RWS were in Mavis's debut, Daisy gives horrible advice to Mavis when she's complaining about Toby, and I prefer this way more to Diesel in the TV adaptation, showing that even if Daisy had learned from her mistakes, she can still be dead set in her ways. I don't know if Mavis ever forgave Daisy for that considering this is what got her stuck at the crossing.

But regardless, these two would make for some interesting chemistry, as unlike Emily & Tamara, Mavis & Daisy, whom ironically are two young female diesels created by Awdry and whom both work on Thomas's Branchline, are the more chaotic ones, and I do mean chaotic, because sure these two may have matured, and they are best friends, but are more than likely to argue every now and again. Let's break this down for a second; Mavis as we know is a feisty, headstrong, stubborn, but kind, hardworking, sensible and sweet diesel shunter who can be quite a perfectionist. She started out at first as arrogant, rebellious, and disrespectful to authority, but after her misadventures with Toby, matured into the diesel shunter I mentioned above, but every now and again she could be headstrong, stubborn and quick-tempered like in Mavis & Shane. And ironic as Mavis is one of the team-players for S4. Daisy is flashy diesel railcar that's conceited, sassy, snooty, flamboyant, but sweet-natured, wise from her past behaviors, and helpful. She started off as lazy and inconsiderate, but after S2 when she got herself in a pickle and was blackmailed by Dennis, became the humble, helpful and hardworking railcar who can still be vain at times, but now does whatever job she's given and doesn't complain, knowing what's right, and she can have her moments of being sensible to, like in DOTD where she becomes a mentor, big sister, and later the best friend of Bradley during his redemption arc.

But with Mavis & Daisy together, they do love each other like sisters would, and get along quite well, in present day of course, but do have moments where they can argue, be it either Mavis's stubbornness or Daisy's vanity, but more playful arguments though. But back during their flawed days, they argued quite a lot, and were quite competitive, and in fact, were more prone to having "cat-fights" if you know what I mean They work quite well together, and plus, their arguing is also pure entertainment for a certain old steam tram, because something else to mention, these two stubborn young diesels were the pupils of Toby (Something else we haven't seen for so long), and it was thanks to him, he's the one who helped these two dears become the engines they are today. And when Mavis & Daisy do argue, you can bet Toby would sit on those sidelines and let that fire spread, and he enjoys every moment of these two cat fighting. Though with Emily though, she's like that one pure member in the trio with these two as these two are her best friends, and she actually would try and break up the fighting between these two or would shudder or even cry when they argue. But despite all that, Mavis & Daisy are best friends and strong sister figures to each other, but occasionally would argue at their expense.
