Lore and Description:

2K7 "Osper" is a compact bullpup personal defense weapon manufactured by Kaneesian. The weapon shares design elemements with other bullpups of the same manufacturer, mainly the 3K7 "Atelos". It is chambered in 5.6 × 32 mm polymer cased ammunition, which offers respectable ballistic performance for its size and is lighter than brass-cased ammunition of the same caliber. The weapon features vertical foregrip which helps the user to stay on target while firing full-auto, and a raised acessory rail for mounting optics. As the PDW classification suggests, the Osper is mainly used by second-line units, support personnel, vehicle crews and other members of the armed forces which require a weapon more powerful than a handgun, but lighter and more compact than an assault rifle. A variant of the weapon is also used by law enforcement units due to its ability to defeat body armor while not being powerful enough to penetrate most walls and cause unintentional casualties.

Inspiration and Background Information:
This design is essentially a shortened and re-chambered version of my 3K7 assault rifle, which itself is mostly based on the RM277 prototype from the NGSW program. I also got inspired by some kitted out compact versions of the L85 rifle that I saw online. 😁
