Lore and Description:

PGD-07 "Khamal" is the latest Rotharnian wheeled infantry fighting vehicle. A radical departure from previous Rotharnian designs, this model resembles Istarian vehicles, like the P24 "Surrus", in both appearance, dimensions and capabilities. The vehicle can carry up to 9 fully-equipped soldiers, who can exit either through the side door or the rear ramp. The turret is unmanned, protected by modular armor blocks and armed with a 32mm autocannon, a 12.8mm heavy machine gun and an array of smoke launchers. The vehicle can resist autocannon fire from the front and is reliably protected from heavy machine gun fire from the sides and rear, however, it is left vulnerable against anti-tank weapons. A double-layered floor also provides some protection against mines and other explosive devices. Twin water jets in the back allow the vehicle to move in water, as it is amphibious, albeit limited to crossing rivers and shallow waters.

PGD-07 appeared in the later stages of the Global War and was mostly reserved for elite units. The increasingly powerful and independent Gora Vur contractors also took a liking in the vehicle, adopting it in considerable numbers and even developing several upgrade packages for it in their own armories.

**Inspiration and Background Information:**Believe it or not, but the shape of the front of the hull is inspired by a certain cabin from the game Crossout - I was looking for some interesting shapes which would make the vehicle a bit more distinct. Other than that, there are elements based on some modern real-life wheeled IFVs, both Western and Eastern, but there doesn't seem to be any well known design this vehicle would strongly resemble.
